Former Cardinals player and, coach with the White Sox, Mets and Cubs organizations, Ernie Rosseau has coached baseball at Brevard in Florida for 18 years.
Ernie Rosseau is currently the head Baseball coach at Brevard Community College in Melbourne Florida. He has held this position for 18 years. He has sent numerous players on to four-year colleges and universities. Many of Coach Rosseau's players have also entered the ranks of professional baseball.
Coach Rosseau played 5 years with the St. Louis Cardinals organization in the mid 1970's. He has been a summer league-hitting instructor with the Chicago White Sox for 4 years, and with the New York Mets for 2 years. In 1993 and 1994 he was the Minor League hitting coordinator for the Chicago Cubs. He took a 2-year leave of absence from Brevard Community College to perform his duties with the Cubs.
Coach Rosseau speaks at numerous locations and clinics throughout the country each year on the topic of hitting. He has also produced an outstanding hitting video: Right On-The Right Way to Hit.
