For Duane Carlisle, sports training and fitness is not only
a career, but a passion. It is this reason that Duane Carlisle, his
Peak Performance Sports Training Center, Inc., New Jersey, and his
new Lightning Fast Training Systems, LLC, Downingtown, PA, are in
a class of its own.
We
all know the phrase "actions speak louder than words," and for Duane
Carlisle words cannot express the outstanding performance and award
winning results that have come from his many years of experience and
his passion for motivating athletes.
Former University of Maryland All-American Athlete, Carlisle has trained
and inspired over 10,000 athletes in over 14 different sports. Out
of those athletes, he has developed All-Americans, Olympic hopefuls,
pro-athletes, and athletes of the year. Carlisle has trained over
500 athletes receiving Division 1 scholarships.
Because
of his one-of-a-kind strength and conditioning training techniques,
Duane has had the opportunity to coach at both the collegiate and
professional level. For three years, Duane was the assistant sprint
and jump coach at Penn State University. He also worked for the Philadelphia
Eagles two-and half years as a seasonal assistant strength and conditioning
coach and served as the speed development coordinator for the Tampa
Bay Devil Rays for two years. Being a role model for many athletes,
he has also served as meet director for the Pennsylvania State Special
Olympics Track and Field Championship.
Carlisle
has not only proven to be a benchmark for sports training, he is also
an inspiration for individuals wanting to keep a healthy lifestyle.
Duane coordinated and directed a one-day fitness and health extravaganza
for the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business also
known as "Duane Carlisle's Wharton School of Business Fitness Challenge".
Because this clinic was such a success, he received national attention
in one of IDEAA magazine's fitness publication and the National Strength
and Conditioning Association.
What
makes Duane Carlisle an expert in sports training are the roles he
has played on and off the field. He has shared his expertise on the
NFL combine on sports talk shows as well as served as a columnist
for South Jersey's The Courier Post newspaper. First in the area,
he published over 100 columns for the past four years on various topics
focusing on sport-specific training. His Peak Performance programs
were featured on Fox channel's, "Good Day Philadelphia." Currently
Duane provides a one-minute training tip of the Inquirer High School
Show on KYW channel 3, Saturdays at 9:30 am.
Duane
is a powerful and energetic speaker and has shared his overwhelming
knowledge on health, fitness and sports training with groups from
the Cooper Health Care System and the New Jersey State Strength and
Conditioning Clinic. To show his amazing ability to motivate and instruct
athletes, health conscience individuals and team leaders, Duane created
his own sports training video, "Train Smart," featuring Randall Cunningham
from the Minnesota Vikings, Ben Davis from the San Diego Padres, and
Aaron McKie of the Philadelphia 76ers.
Duane
Carlisle is available for inspirational, motivational and instructional
presentations for athletic teams, corporate or organizational meetings,
training sessions and banquets.
The
Peak Performance Sports Training Programs, Inc., under the direction
of Duane Carlisle has risen above the rest and still remains in a
class of its own...Second to None.
"This
is what I am trained to do, everything from an athlete's diet to building
up stamina for his or her specific sport to enable the athlete to
attain their maximum potential." -Duane Carlisle
